Never Fished Before or Newcomer to BC?

Join the Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC and Jewish Federation Community Connector to take part in the annual Environmental Extravaganza! In this two-hour session, you’ll learn the basics of freshwater fishing, including: hatchery roles, fish identification, tackle, rod rigging, casting, and hands-on fishing.

We provide everything you need – you bring your family and lots of enthusiasm!

Community potluck picnic to follow
Please feel free to bring a potluck dish, salad, or finger foods to share (kosher‑style).
Come connect with the community as we enjoy nature and learn something new together.
