Jewish Life in BC

Connecting People, Community, and Purpose

Jewish life in British Columbia is strengthened by connection—, communities, regions, and every stage of life. Supporting communities across BC, welcoming newcomers, and creating opportunities for children and youth is central to the work we do to ensure a vibrant, accessible, and connected Jewish future.

BC Communities

Jewish life extends across British Columbia, with active communities in Vancouver, Victoria, the Fraser Valley, the Okanagan, Whistler, and beyond. Each offers its own rhythm, shaped by local leadership, culture, and connection.

Newcomers

Moving to a new place can be both exciting and overwhelming. Support is available to help individuals and families settle in, build connections, and access the resources they need to thrive in Jewish and wider community life.

Children & Families

From early childhood through the teen years, families can access a wide range of programs, schools, camps, and inclusive services that nurture identity, learning, and belonging.

Young Adults

Young adults are shaping Jewish life in their own way, through social connection, leadership opportunities, cultural experiences, and meaningful engagement across the province.
