Young Adults

Find Your People. Shape Your Future.

Jewish life doesn’t stop after graduation; it evolves. The years between campus and “what’s next” are full of change. New careers, new cities, new relationships. It’s also a time to explore what Jewish life means to you, on your own terms.

Jewish Federation of British Columbia is here to support you through it. We help create the connections, experiences, and opportunities that make it easier to find your people, build your community, and stay connected to Jewish life in ways that feel meaningful and relevant to you.

On Campus

Hillel BC

For many, the journey starts here. We’re proud to support Hillel BC, a welcoming space for Jewish students across the province. Whether you’re looking for a Shabbat meal, a place to connect, or a community to stand with, Hillel BC is your home on campus, where friendships begin, and belonging takes shape.

Your Social Hub

Axis

Axis is a peer-led, grassroots community for young adults in their 20s and 30s, designed by people like you, for people like you, a space to come together outside of work and daily routines.

We bring together a diverse group of young adults through social experiences, cultural events, volunteering, and opportunities to step into leadership. Whether you’re looking for a Shabbat dinner, a beach BBQ, a hike, or a way to give back, you’ll find easy, welcoming ways to meet people and feel part of something bigger.

Come on your own, bring a friend, or meet new ones here.

Discover Israel and the World

Travel can be a powerful way to learn, grow, and connect with yourself and with a global Jewish community. We provide pathways to explore your identity in a real and meaningful way.

Whether it’s a first trip or a more in-depth experience, programs like Birthright, Masa, March of the Living, and community-led journeys give you the chance to experience Israel beyond the headlines, through its people, culture, history, and everyday life.

These programs include learning, internships, volunteering, and leadership opportunities in a dynamic and innovative environment. You’ll meet peers from around the world, gain new skills, and experience what it’s like to live and explore beyond your day-to-day routine.

At every stage, these experiences are about more than travel. They’re a chance to build lasting friendships, expand your perspective, and strengthen your connection to Israel and the global Jewish community. And in some cases, they’re accessible at little or no cost at all.
