Direct Your Giving

Align your philanthropy with the initiatives that reflect your priorities.

The Annual Campaign is central to Jewish Federation's work, supporting essential programs and services delivered by more than 30 partner agencies across British Columbia, Israel, and around the world. Together, these efforts care for those in need, strengthen Jewish life, and build a vibrant, connected community.

Additional Ways to Make an Impact

Our community is strongest when we come together to respond to meaningful moments, urgent needs, and opportunities to shape our shared Jewish future. At Federation, you decide where your gift makes an impact, supporting the initiatives that matter most to you while addressing pressing challenges, celebrating Jewish life, and creating lasting change locally, in Israel, and beyond.

These opportunities reflect current priorities and may evolve over time, offering meaningful ways to align your giving with the work you care about most, right now.

Combatting Antisemitism

Antisemitism is rising, and our community is responding with resolve, leadership, and action. Jewish Federation supports educational events, public awareness campaigns, and community‑wide initiatives across British Columbia that address antisemitism in proactive, collaborative, and meaningful ways.

This work is strengthened through grants to partner agencies, unaffiliated organizations, and grassroots groups, supporting projects that confront antisemitism while also fostering Jewish identity, pride, and resilience.

Rebuilding the North Together

Communities in northern Israel have endured profound disruption, displacement, and loss. Restoring the North focuses on rebuilding the Galilee Panhandle, directing funds toward programs and initiatives that support children, youth, families, and seniors;  providing essential care for residents today while helping strengthen and rebuild the region for a more resilient future.

This work is guided by trusted partners on the ground and a deep commitment to Israel’s future and security.

PJ Library

PJ Library fosters early Jewish identity by providing free Jewish books to families with young children and hosting engaging community events. Through storytelling and shared experiences, PJ Library creates moments of connection that inspire lifelong engagement with Jewish life.

A gift to PJ Library expands access for families across British Columbia and strengthens joyful, accessible Jewish learning from a young age.

Yom Ha’atzmaut: A Signature Community Celebration

Yom Ha’atzmaut is one of Jewish Federation’s signature events, bringing our community together to celebrate Israel’s independence, resilience, and enduring spirit. Across our region, these gatherings foster pride, connection, and shared identity through meaningful celebration and learning.

Support for Yom Ha’atzmaut helps ensure these flagship celebrations remain vibrant, accessible, and impactful for communities across BC.
